KIURV glasses are handmade with Japanese polymerized cellulose acetate frames. The 10 mm front and laminated temples are made from two 5 mm thick acetates. The finishes are 24-karat gold, and the enamel inserts enhance the elegance and precision of each frame. The one-piece hinges are made of precious metal: turned, engraved, hand-polished, and secured with custom Torx screws; all plated in 24-karat gold.
